According to CNN International’s travel website, Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia has an excellent score in terms of popular shopping destination due to its successful mixture of good quality shopping, trustworthy sales as well as reasonable prices. You will be surprised that 3 of the world’s 10 largest malls are located in Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur offers a comprehensive list of the best shopping malls, ranging from complexes which house big box retailers, local boutiques, high-street brands, indie labels to onsite weekly street markets. Normally, each shopping mall will combine variety types of stores, resulting in a dynamic atmosphere at each mall, offering tourist and local folks a pretty diverse KL shopping experience.

Fahrenheit88 is a contemporary mall located about opposite of Pavilion KL.  cwas once known as KL Plaza. It was renamed after a huge renovation. Fahrenheit88 offers some very nice stores. At the top floor you find Signature IT, there is a big IT department store. Fahrenheit88 became one of the places to be among locals because of the comprehensive Uniqlo clothing shop that occupies a few floors.

With six-storey building at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur city centre, Suria KLCC shopping centre is popularly known as the tourist shopping paradise of Malaysia. There are over 320 stores, caters to middle and upper class Malaysians as well as tourists. Built in 1999,  Suria KLCC introduced a new level of style to the city with its wide array of shopping stores.

In addition to shopping and dining,  tourist attractions available are  such as a large cinema, Aquaria KLCC and Petrosains, a science discovery centre and an oceanarium (which targeted at kids), an orchestra hall (Dewan Filharmonik Petronas), an art gallery, a convention center, as well as a beautiful park. Moreover, the mall is home to the Malaysia’s first concert hall-  Dewan Filharmonik Orkestra and the Petronas Art Gallery.
